At PTC we, love God and have a passion to help fulfill the great commission. Whether it be next door, in the next town, across the United States or across the globe we want to reach people with the gospel message of Christ. We do so by extended love and building relationship with those around us near or far.
Our Vision
We realize at PTC we can change hearts and lives by extended love to a hurt and broken world. Our desire is to, in love, help individuals learn the truths of the gospel, apply it to their lives and go forth feeling equipped to do the same for others. We know when one individual learns the truth about who Christ is and who they are in Him they can become a world changer for Christ.
Our Story
PTC Ministries was founded by Pastor William & Louise Russell in 1980 with the help of their eldest son Pastor Phil Russell. The church was established on Columbia Avenue in Connersville in a little white building that felt like "home". Pastor William and his wife Louise had 13 Children and many grandchildren/great grandchildren. They lived a life of dedication and service to the Lord and those they served through ministry. Pastor Phil came along side his father to establish PTC and since that time has helped many ministries locally and globally either establish themselves for the working of the kingdom or to help grow and mature leaders for their next places of ministry.
In 1999 PTC Ministries continued to be a family based ministry and they added youngest son, Ron Russell to the leadership team. In 2000 Pastor Ron assumed the role of Head Pastor of PTC and continued the work of his father and brother. The trio continues to work together in a common goal - Reaching The World For Christ.
The ministry team at PTC over the course of many years has enlarged the kingdom for Jesus through dedication and hard work. This required an expansion of the facility. In order to accommodate the growth they relocated to the current campus in 2009. The campus started with a small building and lots of potential. Since moving to the grounds they have added a larger sanctuary with ample room for adult and children's Sunday school. In addition they converted the old sanctuary to a Family Life Center where food and fellowship can be enjoyed. The leadership didn't stop there - they added an outdoor basketball court and fenced in playground for the children to enjoy.
The leadership here continues to paint a vision of not just activities and buildings but they pour into the members and visitors of PTC each week. They have set their hearts towards the kingdom and they sow into the ministry accordingly through many acts of service and love.

Restoring Hope - Who is Restoring Hope?
Restoring Hope is a faith based ministry that has the desire and passion to help others through some of the toughest seasons of life. Members of this group come together in times of personal and national disaster to provide supplies and to lend a helping hand to those in need. We are dedicated to showing the love of Christ to others through giving of our time, energy and resources.
Books for Babes
Is a privately funded program that provides eligible children age appropriate books through out the year. The goal of the program is to inspire children of young ages to go on a journey through the story they are reading. Our desire is to see children inspired to read which will help them grow in their learning abilities! This program was started by PTC Ministries in April of 2016. It is funded by local sponsors of the community. PTC Ministries provides administrative recorded keeping of participants/sponsors and distribution of material/events.
Equipping for Harvest School of Ministry
We desire to equip and release a generation of believers of all ages to fulfill the great commission. As well we want to encourage the church to operate in the super-natural realm of the Holy Spirit so others can experience freedom and deliverance from the strongholds of the kingdom of darkness.
